1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DiffALL ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service, whether accessed locally or through a hosted deployment.

2. Description of Service

DiffALL is a tool designed for comparing media files — including images, videos, audio, and subtitles. It provides quality metrics including SSIM, PSNR, VMAF, MFCC similarity, Word Error Rate (WER), timing drift analysis, difference heatmaps, and frame-by-frame timeline analysis.

The Service is intended for research, development, and quality assurance purposes.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the files you upload and compare using this Service.
• You must have the legal right to use and process any files you submit.
• You must not use the Service to process material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, contains illegal content, or violates applicable laws.
• You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Uploaded files are processed temporarily and are automatically deleted from the server after processing. You should not upload files containing sensitive personal data.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, and analysis algorithms, is the intellectual property of its developer(s). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purposes.

Files you upload remain your property. The Service does not claim any ownership over your uploaded content.

5. Data & Privacy

The Service stores certain preferences (such as plan type and comparison history) in your browser's localStorage. No user account, login, or personal data collection is required. Uploaded files are processed in memory and deleted after analysis.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Metric results (SSIM, PSNR, VMAF, etc.) are provided for informational purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for critical technical or business decisions.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from use of this Service shall be resolved in accordance with the jurisdiction of the service operator.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

8. Refunds & Credits

All purchases of credits or premium plans are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error or experienced a technical failure that prevented you from using purchased credits, please contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case on an individual basis.

Credits are non-transferable and have no monetary value outside of this Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
